After several exciting years working professionally across music performance, education, and media, Duncan is reopening his home teaching studio in Rottingdean, just outside of Brighton. With decades of experience, a stack of industry knowledge, and a reputation for making lessons fun, friendly, and seriously effective – Duncan’s back, and now offering more than ever.
As well as being a professional guitarist, composer and filmmaker, Duncan is currently a tutor and mentor for both BA and MA students at WaterBear – The College of Music. This keeps him closely connected with the local scene, emerging artists, and the wider music industry, bringing real-world insight into every lesson.
Whether you’re just starting out, returning to an instrument, or looking to level up your skills in performance, content creation, or your music career – Duncan’s here to help.
Lessons take place in our home studio in Rottingdean, equipped for both high-quality audio and video recording – perfect for capturing your progress, creating content, or working on creative projects during your sessions. Duncan’s lessons blend creativity and strategy, performance and tech – all tailored to your goals.
Lessons are £20 per half hour and are initially planned to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
With over 20 years of teaching experience and a lifetime spent performing everything from classical to funk, Duncan offers flexible, personalised guitar lessons to suit your goals.
